D. Salinger. I used to read this book over and over and even translated some of the stories.
Yoshida Akimi was one of my very famous cartoonists, too. I was profoundly influenced by her another series, Kisshou Tennyo. Have you read it? It's just stunning, both in terms of artwork and storyline.
