GACKT gets sentimental in “SEASONS” PV
As previously reported, J-rock legend GACKT will be releasing an official cover of one of Ayumi Hamasaki’s biggest hits, “SEASONS”. The full music video was uploaded on Nestle Japan’s official youtube channel, and is being used to promote the successful “Dolce Gusto” coffee machine.
The music video follows the story of a young couple, profiling the ups and downs faced in many relationships. The lead actor in the video plays the role of a film director, who is ‘directing’ the video he’s starring in! After giving some instructions to GACKT, he sits down and watches the video shoot take place. He takes a sip of coffee made by a “Dolce Gusto” which triggers memories of his relationship.

GACKT LAST VISUALIVE -LAST MOON- supported by Nestlé
7/3/2016 @ Saitama Super Arena
July 3rd, 2016 was a sweltering hot day in Japan. That’s why when 15:00 came around to the thousands fans outside of Saitama Super Arena, they were more than eager to start entering the air-conditioned venue to see the grand finale of GACKT’s WORLD TOUR 2016 LAST VISUALIVE 最期ノ月 -LAST MOON- supported by Nestlé.
All that could be seen on stage was a great red moon projected on the center of an enormous screen. When the lights went out at 16:15, a frame surrounding the moon opened to reveal an even bigger screen. It showed the introduction to the continuation of GACKT’s long-running MOON SAGA – segueing from GACKT’s theatric narration to a battlefield scene.
As the scene came to an end, the opening chords of ARROW prompted the entire arena to rise to their feet for Part One, almost all of them wielding dual light sticks set to purple. The giant screen parted to reveal GACKT and his members in full LAST MOON costume. The stage set looked something akin to a post-apocalyptic movie set. Fans waved their light sticks to the beat, creating a purple galaxy-like image around the stage.

YOSHIKI x GACKT - X JAPAN's album got delayed because of GACKT?
On May 23rd YOSHIKI and GACKT aired a collaboration live broadcast titled "YOSHIKI CHANNEL× OH!!MY!!GACKT!!" from Roppongi nicofarre online.
During the broadcast the two sat on comfortable red chairs sipping Y by YOSHIKI wine. They talked about when they first met, revealing the fact that they drank 16 bottles of champagne together during their first meeting. Apparently on that day YOSHIKI was supposed to finish the editing for X JAPAN's album before the next morning, but instead ended up drinking champagne with GACKT until the morning. "It's GACKT's fault that X JAPAN's album was delayed", YOSHIKI laughed.
When describing GACKT, YOSHIKI said, "He is awesome, I mean, he puts out albums on time", to which GACKT replied, "That is n-o-r-m-a-l."
GACKT on the other hand said he hopes YOSHIKI would be "a bit more responsible", but later on during the show also said that "He (YOSHIKI) is a musician and his ideas are out of this world, so there's no need for him to be responsible. If we start to naturally fit into a pretty box, it means that we are over. So from that point of view, I think YOSHIKI is just the way a musician should be."
