gackt_armyShima Uta is originally a song by The Boom, written in response to stories of lovers separated by war, in particular the United States of America's invasion of the island of Okinawa in World War 2. Especially poignant as Gackt is from Okinawa, and there is still a US airbase there. Here, Gackt sings in a traditional arrangement and in the Okinawan dialect.
