Word and Image



I look back,
the wind loosing a melody
that catches my ear

and my heart.

What far shadows
pluck notes
as eloquent,
as fluid,
as tranquil

As the wind
plays on
to caress my cares.
Loathed am I
to turn towards
these barren hills I call home.
