Word and Image

I look back,
the wind loosing a melody
that catches my ear

I look back,
the wind loosing a melody
that catches my ear
and my heart.
What far shadows
pluck notes
as eloquent,
as fluid,
as tranquil
As the wind
plays on
to caress my cares.
Loathed am I
to turn towards
these barren hills I call home.

Date: 2008-09-17 05:24 pm (UTC)I often think that people with an unusually high level of ability and awareness (sounds like Gackt, eh? And I expect that Kenshin was the same) are lonely because their experience of the world is different to other people's. The tension here between responding to something attractive and pursuing a line of duty is nicely described. Well done!
