COMPASSION - Aid to Japan Art Print by [livejournal.com profile] karadin

This colourful iconic figure is based on Senju Kannon, the God of Compassion Who Hears The Cries of the World and multiplies his arms and hands to give support. Each hand in this image supports a symbol of the 47 prefectures of Japan, the figure also cradles a Japanese phoenix. This image also uses Shinto iconography , the solar disc as well as the jewel he wears.

Currently, GACKT is online on twitter. He has this posted and looks like he's promoting it. But even if he's not, this has a good purpose and it's so easy to donate.

"Click for Hope" is the photo contest which is designed to support people and areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. The theme of this contest is "Hope". The contest started from May 11, just 2 month after the Earthquake, and now the contest is getting to the Final Vote. In this stage, anyone can place a vote for a favorite "Hope" photo among the following 50 finalists.  Manfrotto will donate 100 yen per your vote to achieve the goal of 10,000,000 yen. Please now visit our contest website and VOTE, and SHARE it with everybody else! Your vote and encouraging message will be greatly appreciated. Please note that only one vote can be placed per Twitter account.

Two friends going to a Japan relief benefit concert in the UK tomorrow and this gift of two shirts arrived just in time today for them to wear at the event tomorrow night!

The design and sales are from [livejournal.com profile] bugackt  - these are shirts but there are plenty of other items with the same design.  I thought I'd show mine and remind everyone that sales to raise funds for Japan relief still continue from several members here.

Please click on the "ganbatte nihon" and "gackt army aid to japan" tags to look back at the different offers - art prints, jewellery, photos, shirts, mugs, mousemats - all sorts of useful and decorative items.

I'm sure there will be a few Show Your Heart and other Gackt-related Japan aid items showing up at the YFC gigs in Europe - from fans and maybe from Gackt himself.  I imagine he will want to use the tour in some way to promote the continuing relief effort.  I thought I'd use the arrival of these shirts to do the same.
