OMG, why must your design be so erotic.... @_______@ The butterfly concept is awesome! It's very well thought out and I love it. Thanks for the beautiful design, Karadin.
He's wearing a black fundoshi? THAT I really need him to try!! =>w<=
woah, super-cool!! :O so stylish yet sexy!! I especially love trhe colour and the butterflys!♥ And your description is so detailed, you can really feel the love you put into this!^^
I was busy selecting the leather yesterday, eel skin, salmon leather and stingray! I wouldn't mind making this for myself! (but no sheer kosode for me!)
oh wow, this is simply gorgeous! Leather and silk...what an unusual combo...but you actually make it work fabulously, at least in the drawing (hmm, i would actually like to see this type of a kimono in real life, hehe!) and the butterflies are such a lovely, delicate touch...you know, they instantly made me think about Kami (from MM) because he was so fond of butterflies...
it's lovely how much thought and meaning you have put into creating this...
Ooooh! This is truly lovely work! :) Love the design (and of course the teasingly half-naked drawing *grin*) with all the details. I really like that you show it from more than one angle too, and how it all flows. You rock those pleats! :D
I like the contrast of the light (transparent) fabric with the heavier folds. It is kinda reminiscent of the contrast between the very black bits of that butterfly and the diaphanous substance of butterfly wings in general (though in the summer in Hong Kong, the butterflies are huge - as big as your hand - and can really hurt if they fly into your face!)
I am so amused that you keep your butterfly references to the artistic and historical. I wouldn't be able to resist mentioning that this is also a Lucy kimono as ageha means swallowtail butterfly! Oh, and butterflies always recall the kami-gackt affinity too. Really something for everyone, as you say higher up the thread.
