I was surprised to know about the kimono challenge and decided to post this.

I imagine Lucy (hope you guys can recognize her  on my drawing>.<) as a very elegant and a very prim lady. Now on the black kimono, I think I got it because most of Gackt's concert outfit are colored black. It's my way of combining Gackt's "rough" style with Lucy's delicate self.

The colouring is well done, especially seeing how fiddly the patterns and outlines are.

I also really like the big flowers and leaves in the background; the deliberately out of proportion size of background things (flowers, feathers, weapons) as complement to the central figures was one of the first things that grabbed my attention about manga - and you've done these examples very nicely!

Yes, but you have to come back in and fix these two posts, or they will be removed, add the headers and make the image smaller or put behind lj cut.
