Okay, here's my beloved car ^___^
Sadly I don't own it any longer, because it was old and my old man sold it to buy himself a new one (yes, himself. Sold mine. I paid everything on my car).
While I'm not good in drawing big images freehand, I had a rather small drawing and measured many different angles and lengths to create some special points in the sign. Then I multiplied everything by 13 and recreated the image in big that way. Cut the whole image out, fixed it as stencil onto my car and sprayed the sign with car paint, then. Small mistakes (paint went through the paper) has been edited with a brush and turpentine.
I did this 4 or 5 years ago, so the sign is the old dears image as well ^,^"
Now... does this count as Fan art or fan made good? O.o

The registration is photoshopped, but the sign is made all myself ^-^
Hope you like it. (looks a bit uneven, due to angle of the shot)

Date: 2009-10-27 09:27 pm (UTC)It was really cool, driving around in that car. I'm in not that a big city, so everyone knew I was tehre, when seeing my car *gg*
Apparently there won't be any new owner of my baby. There was a special offer lately here to scrap your old cars and get more money for them by buying a new one. Was to made the air better... So my car is nothing else than scrap iron now.
But I kept the construction drawing, so as soon as I'm able to effort an own car again, I will pimp it XD
Uuuuu I can imagine that XD. Designing the cars is one of the greatest point in those games XD

Date: 2009-10-27 09:31 pm (UTC)I think it counts as awesome.
From the license plate I'm guessing you're German but did anyone ever recognise it or ask you about it? I can't imagine anyone ever knew what it was - they just thought you were the person with the ace design on your bonnet!

And, yes. I'm indeed German. Some people asked me about the sign, but the most just new it is the sign on my car, without knowing what it is. So, yeah, hardly anyone knows Gackt around ^,^"
But it was fun, driving to Japanese concerts, while every now and then I've found fans posing in front of my car for photographs XD

Date: 2009-10-28 04:14 pm (UTC)Hah I bought myself a new car a few months ago.
I was thinking about putting something way smaller related to Gackt on it.
Maybe on it's back.It will be just his name or something like that...
So that everyone can say :"Yeah that's that crazy Gackt that is always stuck in front of me when I'm late."*the siren oooooon*
But part of his lyrics also sounds like a good idea...so I don't know :/
Anyway I like your pimped car.

Date: 2009-10-28 10:14 pm (UTC)You should do that for sure. It will be great, when the people behind you, recognize it :D
Maybe you can combine something? Like his name and the title or a part of your favorite song of him?

Date: 2009-10-28 11:00 pm (UTC)You know you can get big magnetic panels made up from a pdf or png file? If you have another car to use that you can't do the full tat on (cos it's not yours maybe!), you could still get a magnetic design done for the bonnet or door with a Gackt theme as you wish. They're meant for advertizing (like taxis etc) but they're fine for fanart too.
Thanks for showing your wheels here - think you must win the prize for the BIGGEST piece of fan work on GA. Even without the DE4R5 plate, it's a fantastic gesture to drive about in a Gackt tribute car!
