When he is being carried off with the face mask, he says "I'll definitely be resurrected!" (Boku wa kanarazu yomigaeru)..so I'm assuming he is being sentenced to death in this scene?

During the comment towards the end he says something about him trying to express the insanity of his character, so please shiver (in fear).
