At the request of General Karadin, I'm sharing this here! ^_^ Enjoy!
----------------------------
I'm making this as I'm posting this (without using an ice cream maker), so I will let you guys know how it comes out once it's done!
----------------------------
Ingredients
2 Large Eggs
3/4 Cup of Sugar
2 Cups of Whipped Cream
1 Cup of Milk
2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
Directions
01. Whisk the eggs in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes.
02. Whisk in the sugar, a little at a time, then continue whisking until completely blended, for about 1 minute more. Pour in the whipped cream, milk, and vanilla and whisk to blend.
03. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following the manufacturer's instructions.
04. Makes 1 Quart!
How to Make Ice Cream Without an Ice Cream Maker
01. Decide on the flavor of ice cream that you want.
02. Find a recipe, get the ingredients, and make up the mixture.
03. Pour your freshly prepared mixture into a fairly wide bowl and put in your refrigerator to chill for between 1 and 2 hours. How long will depend upon whether you've actually heated up or cooked any of the ingredients when making the mixture.
04. Remove from the refrigerator and put into your freezer for 30-40 minutes.
05. Take the bowl out and check the state of the mixture - it should have started freezing from the outside edges in but not be fully frozen in the centre of the bowl.
06. Place the bowl onto a work surface and beat the mixture well, breaking up any ice crystals and making it smooth again.
07. Put the bowl back into your freezer and wait another 30-40 minutes.
08. Repeat steps 5-7.
09. Repeat steps 5 and 6.
10. Put the bowl back into the freezer for the final time and check every 30 minutes or so until your ice cream is frozen and ready to eat.
[EDIT]
The ice cream finally finished freezing around 6PM (I started making it around 12PM) and it was a HUGE hit with my family! It came out nice and smooth, and was absolutely delicious. There was enough for everyone to have a bowl (there are 5 of us), and we still had a little left over. I'll definitely be making this again
