The recent Mizerable promotion here sent me scurrying to my Mizerable photobook, where I found something to match a piece of classical Japanese poetry about pillow love and the reason for a misty moon!. So, for shinimegami21, a night scene.

But seriously, lovely poem! I really like that moon!

Yes, the poem's nice. Buson is more visual and literal (less philosophical, less image-based) than some of the other well-known writers (e.g. Basho) from the little I've read. I'm still reading so my view may change, of course.
I think that's me and moons done now. Pleased that the theme amused you. It felt like quite a nice tribute to Gackt because he's used the moon imagery so much himself - it was fun to think of putting a moon in where he hadn't!

Date: 2008-10-27 10:04 am (UTC)I've enjoyed looking at the older pictures, not least because I only "discovered" (became infected with?) Gackt in late 2007, so think of all the things I've missed!
