he was shooting this calendar right after the Dears trip in Paris, which was in april 4-9...Gackt left on 8th and went straight to Marroco where it all was taken :-)

It's clever how there's a matching crow-black/blue shine on the leather and the hair, especially as the light conditions for the photo (dark tunnel, camera angle slightly from below) don't look that easy.

Hmm - the "legs" effect is rather heightened by the light behind! In contrast to the face which is pointed by the black behind, which is the same matt, neutral black that makes the blue highlights in the hair so eye-catching.

And then there's the moving-but-statuesque lurch! All in all, it's a very cleverly (subtly) constructed piece of work.
