You've had a couple of feel-good items from me lately, so look away now if that's all you can take. I'm sorry - this is a more difficult topic and is written for a Gackt-fan friend who lives in a house dominated by someone with depression. On a personal note, I'm trying hard not to think that my posting the piece at this particular time has anything at all to do with the frustration of obtaining R&RII tickets - surely not!

I don't know the original source for this image so I can't even guess at the copyright in the un-edited version. The words are mine.

And the power behind them is just astounding. I think it is wonderful, amazing, and very brave of you to bring up such a heart breaking and touchy topic, but you handled it rather well.
Finally, and I must say this, that image of Gackt just completes this poem and makes the piece brilliant. Thank you for posting and sharing this, it was a very intriguing read that I thoroughly enjoyed. ^^

Date: 2008-09-17 07:45 am (UTC)Thank you for your encouragement about the posting. If some people are willing to consider difficult topics through a favourite (Gackt! oh - and poetry) medium then I can maybe let a few other "dark" items find their way here. I didn't want to spoil the good feeling that we all have about Gackt!
On that note, I wonder what Gackt himself would make of something like this if it popped up in his fanmail? He's never shied away from the dark side so maybe he wouldn't mind.
Anyway, I'm pleased that YOU liked the presentation. I'll try to put only decent work here, and, if the topic is tricky, I'll be particularly picky about the quality to make sure that it's worth the read! Thank you for leaving your comments.
