There's break with the autumn theme here (though the colouring and nostalgic mood is consistent) as this is my first request post for the GA comm, made for maygray using a favourite friendship photo



As the image was supplied by maygray I know nothing about its origin or copyright ownership.  The words are mine and are dedicated to maygray.

I really adore that picture, it's just so cute and relaxed and wonderful! ^^ And, I also LOVE the poem! ♥ It has that nostalgic feeling that everyone has, especially when they are older, when looking back on the times they shared with their friends. Yet, the second verse, while using language that suggests a grudging mood, that last line shows that those friends will still always be there to "pull [you] along", during the good times and the bad. Excellent job! \(^0^)/

I'm pleased that you like this combination. Most of the idea was suggested by maygray and, cos I've always been lucky to have good friends, finding the words to express that still-there-even-when-they're-not feeling wasn't too much of a problem.

Btw, I took a peek at your member's dossier the other day (wanted to see how many pepo've been brave enough to add a birthday!) and think you're matching up to your morale assignment extremely well!

Perfectly fitting words and colors as always. You understood the bittersweet mixed feelings I had looking at this picture completely and put it into words so well! This reminds me of some of Gackt-sama's own lyrics, the same feeling of wistfulness, faith, and hope.

And General Karadin is right, this is a screencap from the SDSN concert film, though I actually had to snap it with my camera from the screen coz I still can't figure out how to make Windows screencap from the DVD properly. Grr.

So glad you said about the camera: I just couldn't understand the distortion in the image you sent! (ha - now I know why)

Ah - well, if you like this post, it's because you described what you wanted so well; I'm pleased that the end product suited you OK. Thanks for giving the photo and your ideas.

I'm very happy to have given you a little surprise at the end of your hard day (there's something in the poem about "over-working" but I didn't mean it to become a self-fulfilling prophecy!) Hope you can get to rest up before long.

friendship put in a combination of a beautiful pic and verse. Just love the poem!!! Gives a bittersweet picture of a strong and undying frienship. As usual, you match everything well!!! :D

I had a lot of help with this post: I was given the photo and the idea readymade - sort of convenience food (just needed heating in the microwave!) Also, I have been shown lots of friendship in my life, so it is a strong theme for me anyway.
