I've often had the thought that some leaves jump, rather than wait for the wind to push them off the tree - it's cute to find someone saying this!

I like the photo manipulation very much too - the warm colouring reflected from the trees to the person (e.g. light on the hair and hand) is a clever counterweight for the slight chilly tone of the poem.
