Now in Joetsu City, Gackt prepares for the Kenshin Festival, in the blog, he remarks on his reasons for attending last year's festival, (because of the devastating earthquakes suffered in the region, and a desire to bring more people to the Festival, he succeeded by quadrupling the previous year's attendance, and breaking all attendance records.
This year, Gackt returns to note many in Niigata are still living in shelters and are recovering from injuries, he and the organizers have worked to make this the largest Festival (in terms of participants) and hope people enjoy the spectacle and enjoy it for many years to come.

Date: 2008-08-27 09:20 pm (UTC)Wow - Gackt really lives with a camera breathing down his neck the whole time. It's a good thing he has such a strong mind so that he can put his consciousness elsewhere (I know he's had years of practice and says that the lifestyle is his choice and all that but it's gotta get wearing sometimes).
And thanks for writing a report expanded beyond just a description of the picture. It's useful to be reminded of Gackt's awareness (as always) of the bigger picture and of lives other than his own.
