I'm not well this evening so skipped my kung fu class and, instead, did what you do when your feverish mind won't obey orders: I played with Gackt!

Critique welcome: yes (I'll just blame my teacher - you know you who are!)

I'm sure this YFC final shot must have had this treatment before but here's my cheesy version (is meant as medicine for both the ill and the healthy):

thinking about it, all the angels in medieval and renaissance art always look SO SERIOUS. i just know at least some of their expressions would be radiant like this one.

... i hope you don't feel ill enough to be seeing something like this. not for decades and decades.

I've seen a few cheeky mediaeval angel musicians - especially on painted church ceilings, though you have to squint to catch them. I guess most angels are either delivering serious messages (like "you're going to give birth to the Messiah"!) or battling demons which is serious work. They must have their radiant moments though.

Happily I've just got a standard winter sinus infection - means living with high termperatures and a bad head for a couple of days but nothing worse than that. I'm feeling less hot and miserable already, thank you.

You're right - it IS very me and that was one reason why I dithered over whether to post it or not and then decided to lock the post so that it stays among friends who know what I'm like!

The wickedly beautiful angel has wings after all. Not that it's the first time, but as I recall, the last time the wing was black and there was only one.

Mmm - all that flesh rather predicted pink-ish wings this time! I was reminded to that I wanted to add feathers to this shot by the snowboarding CM which bugackt posted recently: they give G a fine pair of eagle wings there! But black ones.

I'm glad you liked the wings effect. I changed the lighting/shadows a few times before deciding on this version - I am still learning (slowly ha ha) :=)

Thank you - I'm pleased that you like it. Such a pretty pose was just begging for wings! Let's hope that his own guardian angel is looking after him in hospital.
