As the shops here fill with Valentine's Day offerings, here's a poem for people still searching for someone special. 

Perhaps I should say that the poem was written a long time ago (it's from a famous Japanese collection made in 900) and that "casement" is an old name for a window.

Definitely it's hopeful!

I was touched by the way that the feeling is modern and that you can read the "missing person" as somebody that you've already met (but lost) and/or as somebody that you have yet to find. Your choice ;=)
