drawing and will not be used as a final - one of three generals in dress uniform for the Shinra Ball,
illustration for a fanfic.
You may recall a cravat and short tails from Gackt's suit to the China Fashion show last year

I truthfully think this picture is lovely the way it is. I think it stems from my love of men in formal wear, be it uniforms (like this one. not army one. ew, camo) and suits.

I would have so figured he would have a belt of some sort.*shrug* I like how it's simple, yet very elegant.

I'm still working on the design, so the details have to be worked out, he has a cummerbund - as opposed to a belt in this version, but it's sort of hard to see (the lines across the stomach)

It's supposed to harken to his military uniform, and the uniforms of the other two generals will be similar (Sephiroth with long tails and over the knee boots while Genesis are ankle boots) but it's the character Angeal that I think will prove difficult to design, (sigh)

Ah, I see. I should try squinting to see the cummerbund then. ^^; I think color would help, but this is still fantastic!

You plan to draw all three? *whistles in awe* You have quite the drive! And skill. Men are so hard to draw. No curves! lol

well actually, there are going to be six characters in the drawing, and its all colored,
the three generals, Genesis, Sephiroth, Angeal, and two soliders, Cloud and Zach, and one turk, Tseng.

The trick is going to be making Gen, Cloud and Zach look different (as they are all based on Gackt, snorfle)

It's for a fanfic.

Just working on logos, and I REALLY wanna use my colored pencils! All...48 of them. -_-;;; (damn the 100 yen shop!) I have never had any real taste for coloring my art in the past, since most times things just look nicer in black and white, and some sometimes gray. But now, I have no idea why I want color to my work...I think it may be due to all the wonderful Gackt drawings fellow dears have shown us!
