Why it's such a fantastic thing that GACKT is GENESIS

Our fair-haired boy (or should we say red-haired) is the only real person to become a model, motion capture and voice actor (as well as composing and performing on the soundtrack)  for a character in the Final Fantasy Universe - Final Fantasy VII is a role-playing game, which allows you to take on different avatars as you follow a complex and intricate story, the visuals, as well as the soundtrack of this game continue to push the boundaries of the medium and have spawned a whole secondary realm of animated films, novels and manga, and it is a measure of Gackt's success that he was asked to become a part of it.

For those of you who would like an introduction into the world of Final Fantasy VII - and to its very succesful prequel Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, with Gackt as General Genesis Rhapsodos  a 'brother in arms' on equal footing with the iconic Sephiroth - (listed among fans and critics as 'the best villain in gaming history' ) here is an intensive article from IGN. I have to agree with lady candar. Sephiroth wins, but then, right after, it's Genesis all the way! xD
