I love the designs on Chachamaru's Horus guitar, so I thought I'd make some bracelets that imitate the materials used in ancient Egyptian jewelry.  When you wear two or more of these stacked up they look even more Egyptian.

Materials:  8 mm beads - red agate, stone dyed to look like turquoise, textured gold.  10 mm faux lapis lazuli beads, described as "new jade."  Matte gold eye of Horus charm (or an ankh or scarab) and two gold jump rings to suspend it.  Best quality stringing elastic..  If you live near a large US city, run a search on "bead show" or "rock show" - at these events you'll find a great variety and competitive prices on all sorts of jewelry making supplies.
This makes a small bracelet, use 9 mm beads or add more 8 mm beads if you have a medium or large wrist.
Construction:  There are several videos online about how to make stretch bracelets- it's all about tying the right kind of knot!  Make your finishing knot next to one of the gold beads, as they have larger holes than the stone beads, and the knot can be concealed inside the gold bead.
