Hello! The snow was mostly in the air, whisking about in all directions, although there was about 1 cm on the ground this morning too. However, it's not the sort of snow that you can ski on so don't get too upset about missing it!
You've hit on a very good word to describe Nomura's Gackt productions: "dreamy". That's exactly what they are: you kinda know that they are not real but the colours and impression are hypnotic and memorable. Reminds me of Ravel's music because of the similar trance-like quality. The desk calendar IS beautiful and I get a kick out of having it sitting on my office desk looking entirely out of place and d*mn proud of it!
Funnily, the calendar was a much LIGHTER (in weight) package than I was expecting and this little surprise is so like the photos: they are lighter than expectation/reality which only increases the sense of them being part of that dream that you can never quite get your hands on.
If we have any real no-dream-nonsense snow here, I'll take a picture for you ;)
