The thing that I find most interesting about this song, and its lyrics, is how much English there actually is. More than half of the song is in English, which is unusual for Gackt.
He has always said how he valued the Japanese language. So, I'm kinda wondering why he decided on so much English. Could it be because he was looking for a new sound? Wanted to try something different? Maybe it had to do with the references to Maria and Jesus? Or could it possibly have to do with the fact of the western fanbase?
It would be something if it had to do with the realization that he has a lot of foreign fans nowadays. Thus, he would want the most important (or so I think)parts of the song in a language that anyone can understand (in the sense that it is so popular and well known throughout the world).
Or, I could be completely wrong on any of these assumptions, and it could be that Gackt just did it on a whim. Though, I highly doubt that.
