Last year Gackt released this single 'Father's Day' which was written the evening of the funeral for his dear friend actor Ogata Ken, whom Gackt met on the set of Fuurin Kazan in 2006, the two created a deep and lasting bond - when they first met, Ogata-san was impressed when Gackt forgot his status as a world-famous actor gave him a cheeky grin - when you see Gackt smile these days on television, it can be attributed to Ogata-san advising Gackt to smile more.
