Conficker Worm Virus

Is a virus that is set to go off April 1st. The virus may have become embedded in your system via networks as far back as October, what the virus does is keep your Windows system from receiving security updates.

The end-goal of the virus developer is not known, however, they may use this virus to send you phony offers to fix your security system! (and thereby steal your data and harm your computer)

The Conficker C virus works against the Windows operating system, the best way to protect yourself is to go to Windows updates (official site) and update and patch your systems, which is always a good routine anyway, don't always rely on auto-updates. Also update your browsers.
