Why Gackt Army will never be an 'official fanclub'

Back to the question of affiliation with other un-official fan clubs that came up yesterday. On the mission statement of some fan operated clubs is the goal to become 'official' the desire to get A Seal of Approval (and therefore access) to Gackt, this will never be the goal of Gackt Army.

Our reasons for starting GA are to make friends and squee over Gackt. That's the fun part.

Part of the fun is also making Gackt our personal creative muse, giving a bit back to the man who gives us so much, and that's making fanart, fanfiction, fanvids, fan goods, and that's something that can't always be encouraged by an official fanclub because of copyright issues.

We make the com a safe place to play, and try to make it as inclusive as a) a community with a General and b) a community with membership can be.

We will always support and be positive toward the General of The Army Gackt and our members, and when the day does come that Dears goes International, we will march right alongside them.
