If you´re really picky about watching fanvideos, I want to show you one which made me really speechless. It´s MCH fanvid by shinyainlace

I want to add, that editing is really great and on high level. Sometimes it´s not easy to catch good rhythm of song to match good with clips. But this one really rocks and author has my HUGE RESPECT. :) Plus lyrics of the song "All about us" by Tatu fits really good to  MCH storyline :) *bows*

The edits were nicely clipped and paced (apart from one speeded up sequence which has Gackt falling so fast that he looks as though he's being yanked down on a piece of string!) and the mix with the music is admirably slick, as is the careful grouping of shots by theme (guns, holding, etc).

Many fanvids exhibit more enthusiasm than intelligence and effort but this one is a good example of a compliation which may be better made than the trailer!

Thanks very much for taking the trouble to post this here. I'm far too lazy to trawl through the jumble sale which is YouTube so having you digging out the treasure in the heap is much appreciated.

Welcomes! :) of course...personaly I am watching lot fanvids, because I want to see what ideas people have. And I can learn for my own fanvids - no matter if I learn when I see mistakes and then I try to avoid in ym vids or if I see really good vid and got encouragement to try to create something which could be nearly good as this. :)

Actually the Gackt fanvids are often OK, but I watch lots of martial arts or manga ones and they can let down (um - don't throw a good light on) the things that they are praising - which is a shame. And you're right: a negative example still teaches a good lesson.

The Moon Child fanvid which you found was beautifully done - the thinking behind it really scores! - so I hope that it does give you the encouragement to make more yourself. I look forward to seeing in the future!

true :) personaly I made some MCH fanvids, I have them at my youtube account MarajaFANVIDEOS...one is serious and second is slash /parody one. :) I want make more MCH fanvids, because you can take from this movie really everything - drama, humour, love, action...themes can be various and that´s really magic

I've just taken a peek at your stuff on YT. Wow - so much! You put a link for the My Samurai one on the Uesugi Gakuto and I liked it, especially the visuals, very much. Let's hope the warlord gives you plenty more material! As you say, Moon Child has some big themes and, maybe, Bunraku will give you more of the same. Hope so!
