If it's Pachinko, it's pretty big. I only spent a few days in Japan, but I got mildly hooked on them. I turned in my winnings so I could sample Japanese snack foods. Yeah, I got some odd looks from the salarymen I was standing next to.
It's pretty cool how he manages to appeal to just about every sector of the population in one or another of his incarnations. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that this new macho but pretty character is going to appeal to lots of people, and might well transition to manga or who-knows-what. I'm interested because I smell a character that I could use for a kick-ass fanfic.
