That; I did not know though I cannot say I am surprised - they're one of his trademarks after all.
It certainly is his most infamous trademark.
Of course, if he is indeed severely light sensitive, all of those camera flashes could actually be very painful without tinted contacts or glasses.
(Being light sensitive myself, I could certainly understand that.)
