On my bike ride to work, I can smell now that the grass has changed and is growing fast. The new waves of green by the road remind me of Gackt walking in Kenshin country near joetsu as part of his immersion in his role for Fuurin Kazan. The green also reminds me of a poem by matsuo basho, from his travelogue "The narrow road to oku", where he is overcome at the lushness of grass fields in place of the scene of battle and conflict which he knows happened there long ago.
