Thanks for giving the link here. The video was interesting though, of course, vampire Hyde seemed to have rather more Moonchild coverage because of his vampire strength, leaping qualities.

I found the rest of the footage interesting too. The Japanese and Korean wirework/body stunts have always appeared to me quite old-fashioned compared to the Chinese and I've attributed this to the different nature of traditional theatre in China. For example, traditional Chinese theatre doesn't use puppets to the same degree (though Tawainese does, oddly) but has always made extreme demands on live performers in terms of acrobatics and balance and highwire action. (If you've ever seen the Chinese State Circus you'll know what I mean!) From the earliest days, this physical component to an actor's training translated very naturally to film/movie stunts (as with Jackie Chan who was sent to a traditional theatre school as a boy) i.e. it was already mainstream, whereas, in other countries perhaps, it was a bit more of a specialism.
