Gackt Army News of Note
GACKT ARMY LOGOS- are due August 31st! And we will have almost a dozen to choose from! Thank you to members for all your hard work, more than one may be chosen by the community. If you would like to offer a logo, check gackt army logos tag for details.
I-TM4U, our community shop in Japan is a young company, and as such, they go above and beyond when it comes to finding unique and rare items (from my first purchase, a Kenshin Festival Poster from 2007 - when these were not for sale and had a limited press run - to purchases of other goods of interest.) I-TM4U has helped friends with questions on Japanese culture to how to navigate the difficult process of ordering tickets in Japan! I myself have never received anything by way of promoting them, just the good feeling of helping
happygarnet who has become my Family.
So it is my pleasure to announce that Gackt Army members will now receive special discounts at I-TM4U! And this is on any item, Gackt or no, though we know you are there for the Gackt. I-TM4U also likes to meet you in Japan, and often hosts parties for it's overseas clients, so someday, let's all have sake in Shibuya.
GACKT ARMY FANBOOK 2007 entries (a juried competition) will begin on September 1. See details using gackt army fanbook tag. If you would like to help with design of the book, etc. let us know!
GACKT ARMY WEBSITE will launch at the New Year!(cross fingers)
If anyone wants to lend a hand, let us know!
Once again, thank you Soldiers, for all your work in the community.

Amazing Gackpoid Drawing Live
Found this on YouTube, and squeed over it, I also found it interesting to hear Gakupo's version of 'Redemption' *cringes at last chorus*
Apparently, the software used here is SAI. But for an old school artist like me, it looks like a fablous system.

Lu:na masks
A few years back I was huge into cosplaying (mainly Gackt, of course ;) ) and during this time I also made these masks. I recently rediscovered them and since I still think they're awesome, I wanted to share some photos.

The one with the wig is of course from Sixth Day & Seventh Night (for some reason, I ended up naming him Kurt :D;) and the others are the dancer's masks from Kagen no Tsuki. All designs except for one detail on one of the dancer's masks are the same as the originals.
Kurt now sits here and makes an awesome room decoration. Plus, the hair glows in the dark :x
