Gackt's particular charitable interest is for the survivors of earthquakes in Japan and Asia, and doubtless around the world.

If you have not heard of the devastation in Haiti, a 7.0 earthquake struck yesterday, leveling most of the capitol Port Au Prince, with death tolls estimated in the hundreds of thousands.

I'm waiting to see if my husband's lab will set up an emergency fund for Haiti where the lab will match whatever each donation the employees make. If they don't in a day or two, I'll donate some money to UNICEF.
