This is entirely shinimegami21 's fault!  Instead of doing priority (but oh so dull) things, I find myself thinking about the PB9 cards that she's been kindly translating for us and then I go hunting in an anthology called, "The Ink Dark Moon" for a poem in translation to match as I don't have translating skills of my own to offer.  And we haven't had a Word and Image for a while.

Glad you like them - I can't really take any credit for either Word or Image here, AND I'm pretty sure that it was you yourself who recommended that anthology to me in the first place! I'se a good soldier and obeyed the order to buy ;=)

I could really do with a period of calm to research and stockpile some good poetry and pix but there is only more storm on the horizon so I've put the telescope back in the cupboard and headed for the gin instead!

Apologies for the enigma: I had the advantage of the footnotes!

Basically, the poet-lady has just been dumped and the guy in question has had the nerve to ask her to keep the same bed-clothes (that they last made love in). I think her poem is a polite way of telling him he can go whistle unless he wants to ask to come back.

Seeing as it's you, I'll let you into a secret: I couldn't for the life of me imagine what possible advice Gackt could be hatching for us with that - half-defiant, half-wistful - expression on hisface! But then this poem seemed to fit exactly.
