Our first creative challenge!

The prize is the official Nippon Crown Japanese CD single of REDEMPTION by Gackt, mint condition in cello wrap with obi.


To enter the challenge, create fanfiction, fanvid, fanart, icons, wallpapers, a poem, an essay or a song - a creative work of some type - on the theme of Redemption.
The content can relate to Gackt's character of Genesis from Final Fantasy if you so desire.

Tag your post with challenge so I know it is an entry.
Redemption Challenge runs from March 25, 2008 to June 30, 2008

This challenge is not juried (judged on content)
everyone entering has an equal chance of winning
A winner will be randomly drawn from all entries

if you win the first challenge and prize, and then there is another challeneg, you're not allowed to win that second prize? I dunno if I read it wrong...

We will have four challenges a year, and each challenge has a prize - so if you win a prize, I think you should allow other people a chance to win in future, course, if people don't think that's fair, we could change that rule.

oh, i think its totally fair! i just think it's worded strangely. ^^;;; or maybe its just me. >.>;;;

everyone should get a chance to win! especially if one person is particularly talented and has the potential to keep winning. -_-;;;

There's no way to judge on talent, especially if the offerings are of different types, how do you compare a fic to a vid or a fanart? Everyone who enters will have an equal chance, and the name is drawn out of a hat (or box or whatever) probably by my daughter or son!

But once you have won a challenge, it is nice to let other people win - at least for this year.

Sounds fair, but my only worry would be that people won't put as much effort if ALL entries are included. You know what I mean...but I do get your point on it being hard to judge various media and art.

I think those of us who make wallpapers, icons, fanart and fanfic would do it anyway? And there's no knowing how much work was put into the 3,800 fic or the 3 line haiku - I guess what I am trying to do is encourage people to create and post, and if winning a prize helps, its all good.

At the end of the year I will do an E-Fanbook of Gackt Army fanworks and those entries will be juried (judged) by peers (the community) to be put in.
