Coincidentally or not, I've been quite into the Canada images again recently (mostly using 'em as a wallpaper!), since they are nicely taken (I LOVE to visit Canada one day) and it's just a lovely shoot.

Yes, the Canadian photos are very attractive. Someone sent me the big 07 Canadian calendar which they didn't want any more (huh?? makes no sense!) so I undid the metal grip at the top and had 3 of the pictures trimmed and encapsulated (laminated on both sides) as posters. One of them now terrorizes guests in the bathroom!

The Canadian style dress he uses in the smaller calendar and the "fresh" provincial haircut gives him a very boyish look, which is why I've found them good images for some modern words/lyrics which express the uncertainties and unconfidence that the Total Concert Producer/Warlord/Zero never feels!

Thanks for leaving a kind comment. I always fear that my downbeat stuff spoils the atmosphere here.

! That does make no sense! Both calendars were gorgeous, but I still want to own the desktop one from this~ I liked it sooo much better!

Oh~I really like this one! The image has that uncertainty about it, and it fits that cold love quite nicely. The poem is beautiful, I simply adore the comparison made between the weather and love, as well as that last line. "it's injuries cannot be healed by brewing tea." So simple, yet so powerful at the same time.

Thank you for your kind comments; I'm glad that you enjoyed this wintry combination.

It is icy here (in the UK - really hurts to breathe deeply if you're outside tonight) but a Canadian friend looked at this piece and said that you can't have a hole like that in your trousers/pants in a true Canadian winter so she wasn't impressed!

I've been thinking about the idea that some people NEED (or believe that they need) what damages them. I guess we all know a few people who can't do without the thing that most screws them up. We humans are an odd lot! Perhaps that oddness is what's inclining Gackt to his current non-human (cyborg, ghost, machine) theme.

It's all a bit too deep for my small brain so time for a restoring cup of tea, I think!
