The mists rise and drift across
"It's today! Today!"
My awaited lord
Has set off in his boat, I think.

very beautiful and sadly fitting, both the drawing and the poem, thanks for sharing!
R.I.P. Ogata-san..

Thanks for posting such a good combination as a tribute. The poem is nicely ambiguous - can be someone anticipating a departure - or an arrival, so a good metaphor for this particular journey.

I hope Gackt is a little consoled that many younger, non-Japanese people will have come to know and enjoy Ken Ogata because they were attracted to Fuurin Kazan by Gackt.

Thanks again for the tribute.

Oh wow, what a lovely tribute. Both the poem and the picture are gorgeous! You picked a wonderful poem-it fits so well, and you are just so good at drawing!

Well, I'd like to take it almost all the way out to the page edge, so that's almost 6" with a res of 300.

Other stuff I want to use with no side borders would be your birthday card and your designs for Gacktway (color please!) which merit a full page each.

How 'bout the GacktJob Birthday cards?
