Kenshin Triumphs!

Last year when Gackt appeared as Uesugi Kenshin in Joetsu's annual Kenshin Festival he broke all attendance records, and this year, The General of The Army triumphed once more, bringing in more people to the Festival than ever before!

attendance 2007: 203,100 (almost 4x the previous record)

attendance 2008: 217,200

It's fun to see him with so many heads behind! I know he has lots of fans at the concerts but there's something very immediate and - literally - spectacular about seeing so many people watching him in the street. It must have been a strange experience for Gactkt - even for a man given to stranger experiences than most of us!

Thanks for showing us the publicity. It's interesting to see how these events are reported in Japan.
