Just a Manip

For no particular reason, just a simple manipulation of a Gackt photo.  This was a very small photo, part of the 2002 tour booklet, if I remember correctly, thus the graininess.  Anyway, I just changed the color to remind me of a sanguine drawing and futzed with the contrast a bit.  Maybe someone could play with it a bit more and make the background lighter or add  some kind of "antiqued" edge.
Larger copy for you to play with

That's a lovely effect - like burnt sienna crayon on pink-grey sugar paper. A while back, I used to resort to the Western Art drawings collection in the Ashmolean museum in Oxford and there were some real treasures in red chalk on buff paper - everyone from Raphael to Ruskin. Clearly they should have been adding your computer to the collection too!

It's surely a small world! I know Worcester quite well - bounded by traffic and the canal and with a lake which often provides the scene for garden theatre.

That's a shame about missing the drawings, but they'll still be there if you visit again. The main galleries are closed for a substantial building and refurb phase at the moment so I'd leave it for a year or so - and maybe your PC will have found you a silverpoint program by then, eh?
