After last weekend's re-enactment excitement, here's something cheerful for this weekend too.

This photo is one of a triptych (three separate & related pictures, in this case boxed together as a single panel) which was, I think, published in the 2003 book, "Hyde and Gackt: Moonchild", a spin-off of the film. I'm not sure of the copyright ownership but it looks as though Wani Books was one of the publishers. The words are mine.

Yes, this is one my favourite pictures too: there's something about the relaxed figures and the golden colouring of hair, skin and sun which is a happy match to the best features of friendship. I definitely wasn't making any pairing statement with the poem, btw. I wanted to say something to show how looking at an uplifting picture, such as this one, is like having a friend carry you along the way when you're tired and surrounded by dull things. In a nutshell, Gackt improves the day for so many people!
