昨日は、23日に上越市で行われる「謙信公祭」に向けて、乗馬の練習をしに長野まで行ってきました。

約1年ぶりの乗馬で、感覚を取り戻すのに少し時間がかかったようですが、しばらく乗っていると感覚が戻ってきたのか、巧みに馬を操っていました。

いよいよ明日、Gackt謙信最後の出陣です!

Horse riding

Yesterday, we went as far as Nagano to have a horse riding practice for the [Kenshin Kousai] to be performed on the 23rd at Jouetsu City.

I'm sad to hear that he hasn't had time to ride for almost a year. Clearly it's something he enjoys. I had thought that maybe he owned the wonderful horse he rode in Platinum Box 7. Guess not.

Thanks for posting this and editing for the translation. The way Gackt always practises and doesn't duck out of the donkey work (er - horse work?) is inspiring. Seeing him preparing like this just makes the eventual performance look more rewarding, even though I'll be waiting for Kenshin in Joetsu to wave that cowhand's hat!
