the difficult thing about doing the doll was which costumes to choose, so I had to narrow to costumes of different colors, and from different times in his careers, luckily so much to choose from - but I will consider requests for set two!

I made them because I wanted to have a Gackt doll, but I can't afford an Asian ball-jointed doll, and I don't know how to make them (yet) but I could draw, and the kids love theirs, though my son often chews on his ... lucky they are laminated, and made into magnets for the fridge,

Oh...my goodness. @.@ These are so SO awesome! I wanna print some, but I have to wait til I get to work and sneak a few in! >.>;;; I'll do it monday, when there may noe be people there, or...whenever ppl arent there LOL

Yep, the file will contain the jpgs of the doll, the clothes and the wigs - the clothes and the wigs will have tabs on them. The files are sized to make a 10" doll printed out on 8 1/2 x 11 paper, if you try sizing up, they are going to blur.

If possible, I suggest printing the doll on bright white cardstock and gluing it to foam core, print the clothes on bright white cardstock (made for photocopiers) too.

If you decide to laminate the clothes and the doll, use cold sheets, lamination with heat often melts color copies.

The better the printer, the better the doll set will look, but I printed mine out on my cheap inkjet and they still look pretty good.

I purchased a Xryon machine to make laminated magnet doll sets with, the trick is making the doll 'metal' so the magnets stick well, but I sourced something over the internet. These versions are 12" - the same set that Gackt will get. ;D

Hmm, I dunno if we have that kinda paper at work :/ And we do have a lamination machine, but it is only for hot lamination. We laminate color copies all the time, and they dont melt. Saa...I really have to work with what I have lol But I think I may laminate the paper since I don't have cardstock, and I dont have much money to ask for a magnetic doll set right now.

Ah, well I tried heat lamination back in the day, maybe they've made it better by now. Hee, I don't have money right now, which is why Gackt will have to wait till the end of the month for his dolls.

I plan on making dolls as close to cost as possible for anyone in GA or maybe people would want sets as prizes? But if you need to, you can still just make em out of paper, like in the old days, and print out a new set whenever you want - which they couldn't do back in the day!

I think he will be highly amused at the dolls! I would be, if my dolls had a better body than me ^^; And thongs.

I think sets as prizes would be awesome! Especially if:
1. they cant buy one
2. there is an exclusive set as ONLY a prize

Ah, now I understand all the cryptic comments you made while working on 'the present.' Great job, there was a Gackt paper doll that I saw somewhere on the web last year, but the proportions were kinda short, and it was generally blah.
Well, hope you sell a zillion of them! I'll be waiting for the Dragon of Echigo set, myself (though that may look a bit odd on the fridge with Betty Page magnets.)

I dont want to make a lot of magnetic dolls, because they are a pain, I'm pretty much selling them for cost, and a little labor, cutting all the bits out with an exacto knife. (sigh)

But, anyone can print them out and make dolls, either paper, or magnetic by purchasing the materials at a craft store, I'll make a tutorial on how to do that.

The Kenshin set will possibly have a new doll, not sure, btw, all the costumes including the Kenshin are now up (a few don't have the wigs yet)
