Words and Image - Missing

I still remember the day when I first met you
As the soft wind swung your hair, you looked just at me
You surely thought that I would be there with you more than anyone else
If I was with you, I thought that even I could smile

I didn't realize that letting go would be this painful
I pretended that and kept running until today....

You kept crying after I vanished, and I worried about you
But then I saw you walking close with someone I didn't know
You've grown up a bit, and laughed so beautifully
Never again, you won't cry again, you won't cry again
Show me your smile

Lyrics:  by Gackt, a section of Missing, from the Moon album.  Image:  Unknown photographer (does anyone know?)   Model:  Sayoko Yamaguchi , about 1980, so Gackt would have been a little boy when this was taken.  This picture would go well with Returner, too, hmm?

Such an odd, yet beautiful picture that really would fit remarkably well with Returner too. Thanks for posting and sharing this Word and Image, it was an interesting one and, while I can't be of any help with identitfying photographer, I can say that I really adore the image...and thinking about Gackt as a little boy was just too cute! ^-^

I agree completely with what you said about Gackt and his lyrics. The reason why he is my favorite artist is not due only to his looks, which happen to be a lovely added bonus, but because of his amazing song lyrics. His beautiful poems.

Also, I think I'll check out Sayoko, since this photo was so wonderful and interesting, I'm intrigued to see her other works. ^^

Wow, what a beautiful picture, and it's amazing that it's old. I would have never thought it was! Thanks so much for sharing! ^^
