Yes, the poem's nice. Buson is more visual and literal (less philosophical, less image-based) than some of the other well-known writers (e.g. Basho) from the little I've read. I'm still reading so my view may change, of course.
I think that's me and moons done now. Pleased that the theme amused you. It felt like quite a nice tribute to Gackt because he's used the moon imagery so much himself - it was fun to think of putting a moon in where he hadn't!
