I don't think I've seen a sonnet here before. You've obviously put a lot of work and thought into this.

Interestingly your words - particularly the ocean image and the wind on skin and the idea of something light in the darkness - made me think of another Gackt photo which is so similar that it probably comes from the same set; I'm thinking of the black and white one where he's standing bare-legged in water at night, with a white shirt blowing open and his head more or less raised into the wind and facing the (sin-)blackness of the sea. In that standing-out-to-sea picture, he seems both to be looking for sanctuary and to be s place of untouchable sacredness himself; and your poem evokes these two ideas as well. Neat!
